'Imaginarium' videos bring Heath Ledger back to life
Could Heath Ledger have been the next Johnny Depp?
Ledger's near-final role, as the brilliantly menacing Joker in "The Dark Knight," showed he has some of the same dark intelligence as Depp; his truly final role, in Terry Gilliam's "The Imaginarium of Dr. Parnassus," looks to put them squarely on the same footing.

It's no surprise, then, that Depp is standing in for Ledger at parts of "Parnassus." We don't see him in any of the new clips from the movie, but we do see Ledger in a role that appears both whimsical and menacing. Comic-Con attendees will be able to see even more of the movie; we're looking forward to reports from the show.
And now the videos, starting with a look at Heath in his final role:

I really loved him in the movies--what a loss.
Really is so sad he never got a chance to shine. The Dark Knight was the first sign of what talent he truly posessed.
The Dark Knight was his first sign of talent, r u kidding me? He was great in many movies before that--The Patriot, Knight's Tale, Brokeback Mtn, Candy, just to name a few, HELLO. Hollywood and the public were certainly aware of his great talent long before Dark Knight.
Until "Dark Knight" came along, Heath basically sucked nuts as an actor. At least we had that glimpse of what he was capable of.

The clips in this trailer of Heath just make it more sad that we lost such a talent... He will be greatly missed
Heath was incredible in every movie he played. He was a miracle. Period.
