'Heroes': Season 4 trailer, Robert Knepper goes full-time
If you attended the "Heroes" session at Comic-Con, the news that Robert Knepper has been made a regular member of the cast might not be much of a surprise. Knepper was on stage with the rest of the cast in San Diego, and he's featured prominently in the trailer for season four. And, yes, he's now a regular in the NBC show's cast, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The former "Prison Break" star initially signed on for six episodes this season. His role grew, however, and Knepper has thus far appeared in every episode "Heroes" has filmed for the coming season.
Based on the trailer for season four (or, in the show's parlance, "Volume Five: Redemption"), Knepper may be able to inject some new life into the show. His character, Samuel, leads a traveling carnival of people with powers, and he seems to have a Magneto-like charisma. Knepper doesn't go as far over the top as he did with T-Bag on "Prison Break," but it's still tough to take your eyes off the guy.
Have a look for yourself, and let us know what you think.

Robert Knepper is one of the best casting moves in a long time! What a great fit.
But can it save Heroes?
I have to say I have not stopped liking Heroes. Of course the last few seasons didn't match up to the greatness of season one, but that doesn't mean they were bad. I looked at all of them completely separate. I think the preview for the next season looks awesome. I think the cast, crew, and everybody on the staff does a great job and I can't wait for the new season to start.
I quite enjoyed season 2, while it wasn't as good as season 1 I didn't quite see why it got such a negative response from some. The first half of season 3 however was awful. While they redeemed themselves a little with the second half I think they've taken it down a road they can't come back from.
The prospect of Ando getting some lovin' and the possibility of a Ray Park cameo (was that him in the video!?) still isn't enough to bring me back to Heroes! I said bye-bye with the real Nathan and I won't be changing my mind now!!
actually looks pretty good.
I will be there every episode....mondays at 8pm. Love the concept and I believe T-BAG will just add to the suspence and action.
Kath - that was indeed Ray Park. He'll be recurring next season.
It will suck.
That is all.
Thanks Rick...so maybe I won't watch but I'll keep him in my "picture in picture"!!
i really liked the 1st season of heroes and i thought the second season was good but not great
the 3rd season began really good and then just went downhill really quickly but it got better in the 4th volumn
i'm kinda hoping that this is the last season though because it looks good but i'm getting bored of heroes
