'Gossip Girl' cast members turn out to toast Taylor Momsen's Sweet 16

For Chace Crawford's 24th birthday a couple weekends back, the "Gossip Girl" star whisked a few of his closest friends out of NYC to a private residence where they could celebrate sans spotlight. His co-star Taylor Momsen? She decided to toast her big day a bit differently...

...by performing with her band, in the city and amongst fans.

Yes, for Momsen's Sweet 16 last night, she took to the stage with "The Pretty Reckless," rocking out in front of a packed house at the Hiro Ballroom in Manhattan.

Before her set, she was seen downing Red Bull, while being interviewed by MySpace.

A partygoer, who spotted "Gossip Girl" cast members Crawford, Ed Westwick, Michelle Trachtenberg and Matthew Settle in the audience, tells me Taylor sang about ten songs before putting the mic down and blowing out the candles on a big, pink cake.

Perhaps not the most relaxing of ways to spend a birthday, but I hear it was actually a really good party.
