Ellen Page rolls in the 'Whip It' trailer

We love us some roller derby (Windy City Rollers, represent!) so we're pretty psyched to see Ellen Page's "Whip It" might almost be as much fun as taking in a match.

Page stars as a small-town girl who moves to larger-town Texas and falls in with a roller-derby team also including Drew Barrymore and Kristen Wiig. Now, some of the moves they show aren't exactly regulation, but hey, it's a movie.

Windy City Rollers in the house! Or, on the blog... We are PUMPED for Whip It! to come out. For anyone wanting to see roller derby in the flesh, we're playing Philadelphia on July 25 in UIC Pavilion in beautiful downtown Chicago. We love roller derby and roller derby loves you back!
