What is it with space and mutants? Can one ever go to sleep and wake up without being taken over by an alien entity or turning into one?

Well, "Pandorum" is one film that won't answer that age-old cinematic quandary, but it will give you the heebeejeebees. The horror flick premieres Sept. 18 and stars Dennis Quaid and Ben Foster as astronauts who awaken in a hypersleep chamber with no memory of who they are or what their mission might be.

While Quaid's character stays behind to monitor the radio transmitter, Foster ventures out of the chamber into the seemingly abandoned spaceship. The men quickly realize they are not alone, and that the fate of mankind hinges on what they do next. No pressure, right?
