Cooper, Reynolds, Timberlake vie for 'Green Lantern'
The Green Lantern's power ring will go to one of three men.
Bradley Cooper had already been rumored for the role; now The Hollywood Reporter says "X-Men Origins: Wolverine" co-star Ryan Reynolds and singer Justin Timberlake are also finalists.

We like Reynolds a lot, but he's already in talks for a "Deadpool" franchise spinning off from "Wolverine," and we doubt he can carry two franchises at once. Timberlake is an intriguing dark horse: He impresses on his "Saturday Night Live" hosting gigs and made "Southland Tales" relatively bearable.
Green Lantern is a DC Comics hero; the movie will apparently center around his earliest incarnation, Hal Jordan, a hotshot pilot recruited into a sort of interstellar police force. Jordan's ring can create a green version of pretty much anything he imagines, though it's useless against anything colored yellow. The hero's name comes from his ring's recharger, a green lantern.

After that fan trailer - how can anyone NOT want Nathan Fillion for this role....
I second my vote for Nathan Fillion. "Captain Hammer" has a lot of range. I hope Timberlake doesn't get this part. I can't picture him as any type of super hero.
timberlake is decent actor but i dont think he would be that good for this role. Cooper might be ok though. Reynolds already has deadpool so i dont think he could really do both.
definitely not timberlake unless this movie is a b-rated teen flick. have you seen edison? this dude acting skill really suck. go back to basic acting cl*** or wait for tv show 'so you think you can act'.
Bradley Cooper is awesome! Even though I hated The Hangover I still choose him. ALIAS rules!!!
I would rather see Liza Minnelli in this role than watch Justin Timberlake.
Nathan Fillion is clearly the best choose and the trailer for it is already made. The trailer so how awesome he can be in the role. Tiberlake is a joke and will keep me away. Reynolds is to funny to be serious. Cooper while he's good had proved on ALIAS is a pretty boy not action star.
Nathan is top choice; if not, the studio is clearly nuts.
I don't think Cooper nor Timberlake is strong enough as the leading man. They make great side characters (Cooper anyway), but I don't think it would work out.
Out of the 3, Reynolds definitely. Hey, if Robert Downey Jr can start up 2 franchises (Sherlock Holmes will surely have a sequel, right?) at the same time, Ryan could probably do it too.
Nathan Fillion will always be my first choice though...Could he and Ryan be in the movie together? Johnny and Berg reunited again? It'd be like getting the band back together! (figuratively speaking)

My first thought was "WHY isn't Nathan Fillion on that list?"
