Casting call: John Goodman enters Ben Stiller's 'Station'

Johngoodman_290 John Goodman is returning to the world of TV comedies.

The former "Roseanne" star has been cast in the Ben Stiller-produced comedy pilot "The Station," according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Goodman joins the previously cast Justin Bartha, who plays Eric, a CIA operative who joins his pals on a mission in Central America to put a new dictator into power. Goodman's will play Eric's mentor at the CIA.

Goodman has tried to come back to series TV with "Normal, Ohio" and "Center of the Universe." He's made recurring appearances on "The West Wing" and "Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip."

He's next set to co-star in HBO Films' "You Don't Know Jack."

In other casting news, "Shark" actress Sarah Carter will play a forensic school grad who's a wannabe CSI on "CSI: NY."

I love John Goodman, i hope

this show is good, the last 2

shows he was on sucked. And

with Ben Stiller its usually

a crap shoot with his stuff,

sometimes he's funny, and

sometimes he's not.


wan't Goodman on Broadway with other heavy weights in Waiting for Godot?


The whole idea sounds dated(like the 80s when Reagan was President). I'd be suprised if anyone would get into it today.
