Brooke Burns joins 'Melrose Place' as Michael Mancini's woman
Brooke Burns ("Miss Guided," "North Shore," "Pepper Dennis") is the latest addition to the cast of "Melrose Place" and will be playing, gasp, Dr. Michael Mancini's current wife.
As my friends over at E! Online first reported, Burns is on board for a multi-episode arc and her character, Vanessa, is not only legally bound to Michael, but mother to his youngest son as well.
As I mentioned before, Josie Bissett, who portrayed Michael's first wife Jane on the original series, has also signed up to reprise her role... and we're still wondering if she may be the mother of his older son, David (Shaun Sipos), whom he has a pretty volatile relationship with.
Anyway, what do you think, is Burns a good move for "Melrose"?

Thank gawd they didn't close the Baywatch Melrose pipeline. Hopefully, she'll bring the same talent and ratings success she took to "North Shore" and "Pepper Dennis". I do still remember her outfit from the last WB Fall Launch party though. nice
