'Where's Waldo?' Universal
Waldo has been found: He's over at Universal Studios.
The studio won a bidding war for film rights to the children's book character and star of the "Where's Waldo?" books, according to Variety. Details were still sketchy, but reports say Universal paid up to seven figures.
Waldo is star of a series of books wherein the stripey-shirted hiker is hidden in chaotic, colorful scenes ranging across time and space. No word on how Universal plans to adapt a live-action film from the concept.

What?
He's had his own animated series so why not? I think a traveller like Waldo would have a lot of great stories that would make a fun family friendly movie.
there he is.
