VIDEO: John Cusack and Amanda Peet in new '2012' trailer
It's the end of the world as we know it...in the year "2012" and R.E.M. are nowhere to be found. Instead, John Cusack and Amanda Peet are taking us along for the ride.
Yes, the director who brought the world to its knees in "The Day After Tomorrow" and the alien invasion of 'Independence Day" has got a jones for the apocalypse yet again in Columbia Pictures "2012" slated for release in November.
Now maybe it's just us, but we miss the days of the world ending by robotic intervention a la "The Terminator" or good ol' fashioned nuclear holocaust a.k.a. "Mad Max." At this point, fighting legions of zombies are even looking attractive.
But hey, maybe that's just us...if you had to go out in a blaze of glory, which way would you prefer?
As you ponder, watch what 2012 has to offer in the way of a new trailer...

No, it's not just you. That trailer was sick on so many levels. Hell at least with zombies and killer robots you had a fighting chance... I can't possibly see anyone surviving that movie.
