is it too much to hope that they are announcing the end of the show so they can focus on being a family? Yes... it probably is...

Well, its about time they divorce or something. Everyone knows they can't seem to be near each other and the sooner the poor kids realize whats going on, everyone will be better for it. When I divorced 24 years ago, my kids were devastated, I was too and things seemed to fall apart. But, my kids have grown to be wonderful men and have learned from the experience. Divorce is not a dirty word.

Jon & Kate will be better too in the fact that the paparazzi will stop hounding them to find out what the story is. Hopefully, they'll find peace in their decision.

Why can't the earth open up and swallow them both? Good people seem to die and we're left with these nobodies who become celebrities for having eight kids? Who cares?

Kate, sure will look good on your lifetime resume though. Good job!

Both of you "adults" should be ashamed, not your actions, as I said you're adult nobodies, but you chose to exploit your children.

Good luck in your new careers as a divorced family of eight (or ten depending on whether your lovers are counted).

TLC and the parents are solely responsible for the mess this couple is in...TLC was a joke to begin with and now they're worse off for putting these two dirtbags on the air and exploting their kids in the process, all for the almighty dollar. They were stupid enough to have these kids, so take care of them and stop over-exposing them for your own interests!

I think the announcement is going to be that Jon is leaving Kate for Nadya Suleman, the Octomom.

All joking aside, I'm proud to say I have never seen a single episode of this show. In fact, I had never even heard of this couple until about a month ago when there was this tabloid frenzy about them and everywhere I looked there they were. Incredible.

Anyway, I don't know what their full story is since I've deliberately tried to not pay attention to them hoping that the media interest in them would die down. But I did pick up enough to realize that they were a very self-absorbed selfish couple who are using their children as walking meal tickets.

I'm hoping this couple has the good sense to finally decide enough is enough and to either quit the show, so that they can save their family, or get a divorce AND quit the show. Either way, the show needs to end. Time to get this car wreck of a relationship off the air!

P.S. The fact that the mother kept referring to the children as "my kids" in the video clip and not "our kids" shows that she's already divorced that man, at least in her mind. I wouldn't be surprised though if TLC contractually obligates the pair of them to continue with the show. The only thing that is going to get them off the air is a huge drop in ratings and lack of media interest in their comings and goings.

It seems to me that, through out this whole entire clip...Kate repeatedly kept saying, "MY KIDS"...Theyhave 2 parents a Mom and a Dad...Maybe this is one of so many reasons, why their relationship went down the tubes...For a marriage to work out compeltely, there has to be comprimise, and I have not seen nothing like that, as I watched the series!. I wish them all the best in this time of dispair. One thing I think they should do...if the really want this marriage...Stop the Reality Show...and just learn to be Jon, Kate, plus 8 in a normal functioning family...without the cameras, without the tabloids....Stop that and I bet the pressure they're feeling with go "POOF"..

I believe they are both devoted parents. Maybe they've gotten caught up in the celebrity portions of their lives, maybe we are just voyeurs watching them take advantage of the good things that have come their way. I don't see those kids as pimped out, or suffering from lack of love. Certainly they'll look back on a unique childhoods, but not a damaging one. The organizationally (is that a word?) way that Kates mind works benefits her ability to take care of children I believe she adores. But the condescending way she treats her husband has finally caught up to her? Who of us who watched this show in the beginning didn't have thoughts about how mean she is to him? Jon on the other hand, also loves his kids. They just need different spouses. She'd be just as mean to him without cameras. Who knows maybe worse. Just wish them the best, and pray they make it amicable, and remember the love they once had and still do for their kids.

Y'know, that bothered me too. "My kids???" I think the word she should have been looking for was "our." I've never watched the show because I see it as exploitation of children They both need to get on with their "parenting" and remove their children from this freak show.

Sounds like Jon woke up and got a backbone, got sick of being put down and started standing up for himself, and Kate didn't like that. She has serious control issues and OCD, therapy could help her so she doesn't p*** these learned behaviours to her kids.

This isn't about infidelity, that's a symptom of their many problems. Marriage counselling will help both reguardless if they stay together or are apart..they're still a family and have to parent the kids.
