Universal picks up Bryce Dallas Howard's 'The Originals'
Who better to direct your latest screenplay than dear ol' dad?
Universal has picked up "The Originals," a script by "Terminator Salvation" star Bryce Dallas Howard, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The studio has already shopped the concept to one director: "Angels & Demons" helmer Ron Howard, Bryce's father. According to THR, Ron sees the film as a nice change from his recent big-budget offerings.
The script follows a group of friends who, in the midst of a quarter-life crisis, reunite when a beloved teacher falls into a coma.
