'Ugly Betty's' Ana Ortiz becomes a mom
Like her "Ugly Betty" character, Ana Ortiz can now know the joys of motherhood.
The ABC star and her musician husband Noah Lebenzon welcomed a daughter into the family in New York City on Saturday, reports People.
The girl, Paloma Louise Lebenzon, weighed 7 lbs., 10 oz. at birth.
Ortiz currently plays Betty's older sister Hilda Suarez, single mom to Justin Suarez and beautician owner on the hit ABC show based on a telenovela. "Ugly Betty" returns moves to Fridays when it returns in the fall.

I really enjoy Ana on "Ugly Betty" along with "Betty" and the rest of the cast - I am dissappointed that ABC is moving the show to Friday nights - the Thursday night slot was much better!

P.S.: I don't know where I've been but I had no idea that Ana was married much less that he was pregnant. I agree with the person who wrote that Ugly Betty shouldn't move to Fridays.
