Tom Cruise, J.J. Abrams confirmed for new 'Mission'
Less than a week after Access Hollywood said J.J. Abrams and Tom Cruise might re-team for "Mission: Impossible IV," they have.
The two worked together on "Mission: Impossible III," with Abrams directing. The plan for a fourth movie calls for the two men to co-produce, according to the trades, but also interesting is what's not said: Abrams has not been named as director, and Cruise has not been named as the movie's star.
The movie would hit theaters in 2011.
Abrams is, of course, busy with commitments to television and now the "Star Trek" movie franchise.
