Susan Boyle rejoining 'Britain's Got Talent' tour

Susan Boyle was scheduled to return to the "Britain's Got Talent" tour Monday after missing a pair of shows on Sunday.

The 48-year-old singer/worldwide Internet sensation received standing ovations on the tour's first two stops over the weekend, but she took Sunday off on the advice of her doctor. Boyle was briefly hospitalized after finishing second on the "Got Talent" finale a couple weeks ago, and there was speculation she wouldn't be able to make the tour with her fellow finalists.

"Following three sensational performance" -- one on Friday and two on Saturday -- "Susan Boyle has been advised to rest," reads a statement from her spokesperson, per E! Online. "She sends her sincere apologies to her fans for not appearing in Manchester," the site of Sunday's shows.

Fans in Manchester were given the option to ask for a refund, but only a handful asked for their money back.

Boyle will rejoin the "Britain's Got Talent" tour when it makes its first stop in her home country of Scotland Monday night. She and the other acts on the tour are set to perform almost daily between now and July 5.

Y'all are so mean.

I'm a fan and I feel sorry for her. At 48 she had the courage to reach for a dream, but wasn't prepared for all that could happen. She probably didn't even imagine what could happen - I doubt she expected to have so many fans, much less the tabloids and all the internet exposure.

I hope she takes care of herself so she can continue to pursue her dreams.
