'Real Housewives of New Jersey' postmortem: Final thoughts on Bravo's newest bitches

Teresagiudice I mean...

I'd been waiting to see last night's episode of the "Real Housewives of New Jersey" for a couple months now. The brilliant people at Bravo wisely teased us with a tiny bit of that "Teresa turning tables over and hurling profanity" footage long ago, so I tuned in eagerly yesterday evening to finally see what the fuss was about.

Who would've guessed it was all because Danielle uttered a couple sentences that made Teresa feel stupid? You know, that's what that was about. Teresa's the type of girl that gets called ditzy I'm sure and when Danielle made her feel like a dummy in front of everyone, she lost her sh-t. Too bad for her and her new bubbies. She looked like a lunatic.

Danielle, on the other hand, here's my analysis: She may not have all her marbles, but I don't think she's a bad person. Still, there was really no reason for her to bring that stupid book to the dinner. She likes trouble, so I'm not going to feel sorry for her. She wanted drama and she got it.

That said, though I like Caroline and Dina, it was good to see them called out. The two of them -- Dina especially -- are not always nice and they needed to take responsibility for their part in Danielle's name being dragged through the mud. Kudos to Jacqueline for coming to Danielle's defense and telling the truth about her sister-in-laws' actions despite knowing she'd catch the family's wrath for it. Jacqueline is a truly good person and I hope Caroline and Dina recognize that.

Don't you agree?

last night was crazy.. never expected caroline to be the one who found the book. in teresa's defense i heard that danielle said worse things to her that never made it to the air. danielle is a nut, i feel so bad for her children. throwing the book on the table at the dinner she was invited to was just in bad taste. as for jacqueline, ya it may have been nice that she stood up for danielle, but these girls met a week before filming. you don't throw family members under the bus for a person you've only known a couple of months

I don't agree with Rebecca. When your family members are lying and ganging up on someone who has nobody, it's nice to put your own self aside and stand up for the person who is being attacked. Danielle is crazy and I feel bad for her daughters too, but she is like a lost soul or something. She wanted to be friends with all these girls and she was rejected by all of them except for Jacqueline.

I don't know why people are so forgiving of Danielle. She is a bad person. A cl***ic narcissist. I think she has skillfully isolated Jaqueline from her family even thoough she knew that would casue Jacqueline pain. Danielle is a dangerous friend.

Gotta agree with Renee. Plus, I do not think the ONLY two truths in that book were the name change and she was arrested. Anyone else would have sued for defamation and libel for such alleged untruths in a book and I certainly did not hear her say she filed such a suit. To bring the book to the dinner party and plop in on the table was cl***less. All she seeks is to add drama to a situation and as you said, she go it.

I'm sure that the producers set it all up and intended for Danielle to bring the book to the dinner. They probably made Teresa host the dinner and invite her to the dinner. What else could they have had for their finale?

Well, Caroline said at the beginning that it all started when her *niece* brought the book to her attention. Who knows if that's true, but my take is that Caroline broke the news but that Dina spread it (maliciously) around. Thank goodness someone had the presence of mind to get their children out of there before it hit the fan. And kudos to Danielle for coming at them with an articulate, mature argument -- I didn't think she had it in her. But was anybody bothered by how sweet the guests were to Danielle when she first got there? At least she wasn't faking her true feelings. Teresa especially, who was first her friend, then called her trash behind her back and then pretended everything was fine at that dinner. Why would you invite someone to your party when everyone except one guest dislikes her? Bravo, I smell your hand in this -- that scene was clearly staged, even if the fighting was real.

Teresa and Dina and her sister they are all Moron **** shucking *****es. No cl*** at all after watching the last episode last night.

Those three Women are low life FAKE and NO CL***.

I agree with Josie: Dina, Caroline and Teresa ,those three has NO CL***.Money does not buy Cl***. Dina was not a nice person.

I was appalled that Danielle had the -- well, nerve to bring that book to a party to which she had been invited. If she wanted to bring it out into the open, she should have hosted her own party and invited all of the women with whom she had a quarrel. Frankly, none of these women have any cl***, and I certainly include Danielle in that group. I agree that Bravo had a hand in the whole sordid mess.

these women are very trashy, uneducated, and sophisticated. they are truly an embarr***ment to NJ women! Jacqueline seems the only halfway decent one.

since the first epi, i don't even watch this show, i just glance at the articles sometimes. needless to say, i wouldn't go near these beasts with a 10-foot pole.

please Bravo, fire these housewives!! we like humor and drama but this is going too far. after Atlanta and now this, you are bringing down the series....
