Will.I.Am isn't the only one Perez Hilton is blasting online.
Now the Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation is in the gossip blogger's sights after the organization requested an apology for Hilton's use of a gay slur against the Black Eyed Peas musician.
In a dust-up Sunday night, the blogger formerly known as Mario Lavandeira told Will.I.Am, "you're not a f***ing artist, you're a f***ing f*ggot."
"I made the split-second decision -- that I was gonna say what I thought was the worst possible thing that thug [will.i.am] would ever want to hear," said Hilton in a video posted to his website. "As I was standing my ground - without being violent or physical which I would never do - I told him - and you know what? I don't need to respect you and you're a f**. You're gay and stop being such a f*ggot."
Naturally, GLAAD had something to say about the use of the derogatory terms.
"These are vulgar anti-gay slurs that feed a climate of hatred and intolerance toward our community," says Rashad Robinson, Senior Director of Media Programs at GLAAD in a statement. "For someone in our own community to use it to attack another person by saying that it is, quote, 'The worst possible thing that thug would ever want to hear,' is incredibly dangerous. It legitimizes use of a slur that is often linked to violence against our community. And it sends a message that it is OK to attempt to dehumanize people by exploiting anti-gay attitudes.
"We have reached out to Hilton and asked him to apologize for promoting this anti-gay slur, and we would ask media outlets to avoid repetition of the slur in their coverage of this story."
As expected, Hilton retaliated with his own statement to TMZ:
"I am saddened GLAAD chose to victimize me further by criticizing me for how I non-violently dealt with a very scary situation that, unfortunately, turned violent. While I doubt I will get an apology from GLAAD, nor do I expect one, I would just hope people know how difficult it is to intellectualize a situation and think rationally when a thug disguised as a musician is screaming at your face and intimidating you. I am just very fortunate and grateful that nothing more serious happened to me."

well it possibly wouldn't have gotten to the point of violence if he hadn't instigated it.
You know, this whole situation shows me that Perez must be slow in the head. He said himself that he wanted to say the worst possible thing to will.i.am, how can you not expect to get hit? He wanted to get hit
I hope Perez is ok and Mr. I.AM attacked him. Perez's eyes looked bad. So sad how they fought over that has been Fergie.

Glad to see Hilton get knocked down a peg or two. He was starting to become the Rush Limbaugh of gay culture. Groups like the NAACP are trying to get blacks to stop using the N-word; it's understandable for GLAAD and other groups to go after the use -- even within the culture -- of their F-word.
Quick clarification my statement above re: "knocked down a peg or two" references GLAAD's criticism, not the alleged ***ault.
Perez deserves everything he gets and more. He dishes but cant take it.

People who were there are saying that Perez was calling Will yelling the N word up & down the street after Will & his manager left. He's such a lying, hypocritical sack of ****. Too bad they didn't shoot him.
