David Letterman is out of the Olive Garden family.
The "When you're here, you're family" restaurant chain has pulled its advertising that was scheduled to air this year during "The Late Show," reports Politico, because it's not happy with how Letterman acted regarding his jokes about Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin's daughter.
"We apologize that Mr. Letterman's mistake, which was not consistent with our standards and values, left you with a bad impression of Olive Garden," Sherri Bruen, the company's guest relations manager, writes in an email to a Letterman critic.
Despite Palin's accepting the talk show host's apology for his inappropriate comments, Conservative radio host John Ziegler has been spearheading a campaign to get Letterman fired. A small protest was held Tuesday outside of the "Late Show" studios.
Ziegler has also compiled a list of the show's advertisers, among them Olive Garden, on his website, FireDavidLetterman.com.

Good for Ziegler and good for Olive Garden!
The food at Olive Garden is nasty. No one cares about the trashy food that Olive Graden serves. Esp now that they are supporting that TRASH!

I will not eat at Olive Garden again. I support Letterman and suggest all those right wingers such as Palin, Ziegler and the Republican Party in general get a gripe..Talk about "morals" and such get over it..the Republican Party claims to be holier than thou but they sleep around eg Palin's daughter now an unwed mother. What is it with you Olive Garden. Just what is it that you stand for and what are you protesting? NO MORE OLIVE GARDEN FOR ME AND MY FAMILY.

TRASH has a knocked up daughter and she wants to tell us about morals and values. Its like Miss TRASH dont cheat on your husband or fly your kids all over the US using state money and we will talk. Plus what Letterman said isnt that far off, give it time more will be knocked up in that family.
Olive Garden food is nasty anyways, I rarely go, but will make sure to never go again.
