Kirsten Dunst returning for 'Spider-Man 4'
Will-she-or-won't-she "Spider-Man" star Kirsten Dunst will. Again. For the moment.
Dunst will definitely return as Mary Jane Watson for "Spider-Man 4," Sony producer Todd Black told the New York Post.
The actress has wavered on her involvement, sometimes saying the third movie would be her last and your friendly neighborhood wall-crawler should die.
Black also told the Post the fourth movie would not feature the marriage of Mary Jane and Tobey Maguire's Peter Parker.
As for the villain? "We're just coming up with who the villain's going to be now," Black said. "We'll be shooting in New York again. Trust me, people will appreciate who we pick, because it'll be a big part of New York."
Hmmm, any ideas?
"Spider-Man 4" has a tentative release date of May 6, 2011.

I was thinking The Lizard as a sub villian due to the good Doc Connors already being in the films. As for the main I would love to see Carnage or The Hobgoblin in tattered clothes not a fancy armored suit!
Try this for you true believers! The real Eddie Brock comes for revenge over the death of his son Eddie Brock Jr. Imaginge a bigger, faster, deadlier Venom!!!
They should have Speidi as the villain!!!
she acts totally unexcited about doing these movies. she could barely muster a smile promoting Spiderman 3, and came in with a very lackluster performance. so why ruin Spiderman 4 with Dunst again? get an actress who at least has some entusiasm for the role! she sucks!
Why have her back! MJ supposed to be a hottie not...that thing up there! Ehhh
I don't mind, it gives them more time to hammer out a story that will hold up to the previous movies.
lmao thats a good one phil. but I would personally love to see carnage
why?
Kirsten Dunst ruins 25% of all spiderman movies draw. Mary Jane is supposed to be unattainable. Kirsten Dunst is more than attainable. Kirsten Dunst is like a hobo ho or something. Scarlett Johanssan Would be closer than anything proposed yet...
