New '90210' character to fill Ethan's shoes

Dustinmilligan_90210_290 I guess we were sort of under the impression that Liam (Matt Lanter) was the new guy on "90210," cast to replace the departing Dustin Milligan (Ethan), but it turns out that role is still up for grabs. Though Liam is indeed sticking around, TVGuide.com is reporting that producers are now looking to add another recurring actor to the show.

The character is described as a high school kid named "Teddy," the son of a movie star who possesses "Clooney-esque" charm (read: He's hot).

The casting breakdown also notes that he's a tennis champ -- which makes us wonder if this is the "tennis player guy" new showrunner Rebecca Rand Kirshner Sinclair was talking about when she spoke with KTV in April. Also of note: The character is "returning to West Beverly" -- which has to mean there was some scandal that caused him to leave, right?

So what do you think? Does the new character sound like a good addition to the cast? Who would you like to see play Teddy?

keep ethan....

Maybe his car was the one following Annie?

keep Ethan! i hate that his storyline with Silver will be unresolved...his character was just getting more interesting!

Maybe it's Matt Perry's "legendary" tennis playing character, Roger Azarian, returning after nearly shooting his father in '91. I think we all learned a valuble lesson about parental pressure that week.

I too think he'll be the person that witnessed Annie's hit and run!

Zac Efron :P

Hopefully they'll cast a better actor then Dustin "one facial expression" Milligan
