NBC spreads out its fall premieres
NBC had already announced that "The Jay Leno Show" would premiere a week before the official start of the 2009-10 TV season. The network will take its time rolling out the rest of the fall schedule, though.
Leno's prime-time show will premiere Monday, Sept. 14 and run every weeknight at 10 ET. Two other nights of programming -- "The Biggest Loser" on Tuesdays and the Thursday comedy block -- will also debut that week, while the Monday, Wednesday and Friday shows will join them the week of Sept. 21, when Nielsen starts counting ratings for 2009-10.
The Thursday schedule will include, for three weeks, another round of "Saturday Night Live Weekend Update Thursday" at 8 p.m., followed by "Parks and Recreation," "The Office" and newcomer "Community." The latter show will shift to 8 o'clock on Oct. 8 to make room for an hour-long "Office." Emmy winner "30 Rock" will join the party late again, debuting its fourth season on Oct. 15.
Also of note: "Heroes" will have a two-hour premiere on Monday, Sept. 21, which will push the debut of "Trauma" to Sept. 28. "Saturday Night Live" will kick off its season on Sept. 26.

Oh good, now I'll have plenty of time to actually watch the interesting programs I've downloaded. This is such a horrible lineup!!
lets get the NBC flops on as quick as possible so they can get rid of them and bring back CHUCK early.....
I just hope GE will finally get rid of BOTH Zucker and SIlverman soon, as they're driving this network into destruction. Can they just stop this insanity already and get these two ****s out?
Every one seems to be on the same page. "Chuck" & "Heroes" should premiere at the same time.
i love how they put southland in a friday night time slot and i bet they will say "oh, it didn't work!" meanwhile they continue with crap like 30 rock and that dumb parks and recreational stuff :/
I deeply thank NBC for the "CHUCK" renewal. However Zucker and Silverman DO need to go!
ah, who cares... they don't make decent television series anymore.. thank god for the BBC network
No wonder NBC is at the bottom in ratings can someone please tell me how these people keep their jobs? Parks and Recreation got renewed you have to be kidding me. It seems no matter how bad your ratings are if there is a SNL alum in the lead role they are safe.(and unfunny)
Oh I forgot at least NBC still has football so at least one good thing will be airing on NBC.
Well, I'll have a lot of time to read a book with this sad and pathetic lineup...
