Mary-Kate Olsen's 'Beastly' behavior

If Vanessa Hudgens is the beauty, what does that make new "Beastly" co-star Mary-Kate Olsen?

Olsen has joined "High School Musical" star Hudgens in the "Beauty and the Beast" update, according to E! Online, but don't worry, she's not the titular animal. Instead, Olsen will play the woman who curses co-star Alex Pettyfer to a life of very bad hair days as half human and half animal, at least until he learns the true meaning of love.

"Beastly" has a tentative release date of July 30, 2010.

Hudgens signed on for "Beastly" after a high-profile but unsuccessful attempt to secure a role in "The Twilight Saga: New Moon."
