'Lost,' 'Chuck,' 'Big Bang,' 'Supernatural,' 'True Blood' to show at Comic Con 2009

Yunjinkim Looks like word on which TV shows are getting panels at Comic Con 2009 has leaked via my friends over at Seat42F.

According to the site, "It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia" will not have the whole formal to-do, but a cast signing on the floor is currently trying to be arranged.

The following series, however, are expected to have full panels...

The Big Bang Theory

Chuck

Psych

Ghost Whisperer

Flash Forward

Fringe

Lost

V

True Blood

Dexter

Supernatural

Eastwick

P.S. There will more shows added to the list soon.

So, pumped for anything in particular?

Wish I was going again this year. Perhaps next year. I felt I missed out on too much due to really poor scheduling of the TV show panels at the Con.

I'm sad to be missing a bunch of these panels. Last year's Big Bang Theory panel was fantastic. I think Fringe will be a bigger deal than it was last year. The renewed interest in Chuck should make for a great panel too.

Maybe I should go...LOL

Are you going, KG?

Oh to be in California now that Comic Con is here...well almost!

If I was there then I would definitely be going to Chuck (tied for my #1 show with another show that has a character's name title, which also begins with a "C"!!), Psych (finally back on in the T-dot, though in a weird random order from season 3 kinda way...even though they never showed season 2 here!), Lost (because I'm now hooked!) and Eastwick (because my love for "The Mountie" aka Paul Gross knows no bounds!!)

Enjoy it Korbi and KTV staffers...and send us lots of info, pictures, scoops, and spoilers...with our thanks!

I definitely will be attending Comic Con (have had my tickets since early Spring) and depending on any conflicts in scheduling (since a lot of great panels get scheduled at the same time), I'll be at as many of the following as possible: Chuck, Psych, Flash Forward, V, Lost, Supernatural, Eastwick and True Blood.

I'll be there, yep. My first time. I'm frightened.

Korbi - You should be frightened! After 23 years of attending Comic Con, I am done. It has ceased to be fun for me. Spending hours in line hoping to be one of 6500 people in Hall H. I saw people lining up at 1:00 am last year hoping to get into a panel that started at 10:00 am the next morning.

I am saddened by what the CC has become over the years. Some of the attendees lose their minds and their manners in the attempt to get the freebies given out. I was pushed, elbowed, and kicked last year at the Warner Bros. booth. It wasn't worth it.

Of course, since you are considered press, you should have an easier go of it. :))

Don't worry Korbi, I've got your back ;) It can be totally overwhelming, but it can be fun if done right.

Kath (canakaty), I'm so hoping Castle (which I ***ume is your other fave show, unless I'm totally mistaken) has a showing at CCI. After all, you'd think Nathan would be a huge draw.

Chuck is only fair, since they have used it in the show multiple times.

Your lucky Korbi I wsih I could go

Problem with Comic Con is it's gotten too big for only a couple of days. I think it's big enough - and has enough of a fanbase to support it -- that they can and should spread it out over a week. There's little difference between Comic Con and something like Cannes or other film festivals, so they shouldn't try to squeeze it all into a few days.

I was absolutely referring to Castle, Marisa (just ask Korbi about my obsession, er rather, mild adoration for Nathan Fillion!) and I agree that he would be a huge draw. Do you think "Castle", being a mystery/detective show and yet being about a writer (and oh so much more!) would fit in to the Comic Con mandate?
