Twitter'American Idol's Kris Allen flattered by Adam Lambert crush
The latest "American Idol" champ is gracious about winning the prize and catching fellow contestant Adam Lambert's eye.
Kris Allen tells People magazine he's flattered by compliments Lambert paid in a Rolling Stone interview. In that same RS article, Lambert officially announced he was gay.
"I'm flattered," Allen told People. "And think it's hilarious."
"I was like, 'Oh, [expletive], they put me with the cute guy. Distracting!" Lambert told Rolling Stone. "He's the one guy that I found attractive in the whole group on the show ... totally my type -- except that he has a wife."

Is there no end to the angles that can be devised to keep Adam Lambert in the news?
Who knows what went on behind closed doors in their suite? Maybe Adam got a "Whole Lotta Love" from Kris. ;)

I really doubt that the American public is quite mature enough to deserve an Adam Lambert in it's news. The comments above and those that will follow lend weight to this doubt.
Bet the AI producers are thrilled to hear he smoked pot and took drugs and the resulting experience convinced him on try out for AI....and to think they were pimping him all season long to be a contender...bet they are glad now the voters didn't give him the crown and they would have to promote him as the American Idol...some idol he turned out to be.
But the voters DID give him the crown...by voting for him. More folks voted for adam--but more people voted multiple times for Kris. You see, you don't have to be the most talented or the most popular to win AI. This reality and the surprising results will hurt AI more than an Adam win (which would have HELPED AI's veiwersip next season).
Adam was not pimped. Adam was significantly better than the other cotnestants and he was hoenstly ***essed by the judges.That's not pimping.
I'm gay and I voted for Kris Allen because I could see myself buying a Kris Allen record - not because he was cute or I was afraid of Adam scaring the straights. Adam is an entertainer but they weren't doing a contest for entertainers, they were doing a contest for record buying public (what little there is left). Kris won me over when he sang "Falling Slowly."
my friends and i are a couple of straight struggling guy musicians and we voted for kris allen because we can easily relate to his music, style and demeanor. we voted for him not because we condone "gayness", it's just that kris' music is our cup of tea and we find it interesting and listening-friendly. all credit to adam he can really really sing!
And Toro, you know this how? You really have no idea how many people voted for either person, so it's just speculation on your part.
Say What???? "More folks voted for adam--but more people voted multiple times for Kris." That is so lame...in otherwords...Adam really won???? Sorry, but if Kris got more votes...whether by one vote or 100 votes...Kris still got more votes. I guess the people who voted only ONCE for Adam, didn't want him to win too badly. In my opinion, both Kris and Adam deserved to win...but the winner is elected by the number of VOTES.
