James Van Der Beek splits with wife
"Dawson's Creek" star James Van Der Beek doesn't get the girl in real life either.
The actor 32-year-old actor and his wife, actress Heather McComb, have split, reports Usmagazine.com.
A "source" claims the couple split two months ago. They apparently remain "good friends."
Van Der Beek and McComb, 32, had met in 1998 when McComb's sister introduced them after filming an episode of "Dawson's Creek." They wed in July 2003 with co-stars Michelle Williams and Busy Philips as guests.
McComb has appeared on "Party of Five" and "Prison Break."
Van Der Beek has been making the guest-starring rounds lately and will star opposite Treat Williams and Teri Polo in the NBC miniseries "The Storm" in July. Van Der Beek will play a scientist who is against new technology that can affect the atmosphere and predictably wreaks weather-related havoc on the earth.
