'Friday the 13th' director hacks into 'Conan'
Look for a little more gore in the "Conan the Barbarian" remake.
Marcus Nispel, who led the "Friday the 13th" and "The Texas Chainsaw Massacre" remakes, has signed on to do the same for Arnold Schwarzenegger's 1982 actioner, according to Variety.
Filming begins later this year for a 2010 release, though no cast members have yet been confirmed. "Conan" is just the latest Schwarzenegger film to get a new look: A "Total Recall" remake is also in the works.
In other directing news, "Enchanted" director Kevin Lima will work with CGI animals again: Lima has been tapped to helm the make of "The Incredible Mr. Limpet," according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The original 1964 "Limpet" starred Don Knotts as Henry Limpet, who could turn into a cartoon fish. Limpet discovered his destiny by helping Allied ships during World War II; no word on whether the update will move the setting to the War on Terror.

I wish they'd leave "Total Recall" alone. A remake is'nt needed.
