Father's Day: Jon & Kate style -- the calm before the storm?
Jon Gosselin -- minus Kate -- spent some quality time with his eight little ones this Father's Day weekend, according to People.
Gosselin spent the day outdoors playing lacrosse and setting up water games for the children, though he still found time to sign autographs for fans and field some questions from the media about the "big announcement" which is slated to air tomorrow on Monday's episode of 'Jon & Kate Plus 8."
The internet has been abuzz the last several days over rumors that the couple with will separate for good.
All signs seem to support that a Gosselin divorce is imminent with Jon caught apartment hunting in New York. Additionally, RadarOnline.com reports that the patriarch is not making anymore friends on the show with his disappearing acts. When asked about the impending "announcement", Jon was mum saying: "You'll have to watch the show."

I don't know how you can conclude anything else but divorce, or at least a separation, with Jon looking at apartments. I am really feeling for Kate and the kids and what it's going to be like for them. With Jon's behavior being what it has been, I would say he's going through a very early mid-life crisis. After 8 kids he probably feels like that. However, he planted the kids, he should darned well be more responsible then he's being right now. Kate thought she married for life and never thought she'd have him running off acting like a college kid. Who blames her for barely being able to keep from knocking him over the head and screaming at him. What a irresponsible adolescent he turned out to be.
Just another way to get us to watch the show or what? What a shame. Their family made the show so enjoyable. The whole idea of it makes me sick. They as a couple should have been more committed to their relationship knowing that those children need both of their parents. Sickning I'm telling you!! Shame on you Jon and Kate.
My hope is the announcement is that the show is ending so Jon and Kate can deal with their relationship problems in private. Although it would not surprise me to see Kate continue on with the show by herself since she has become hungry for attention from the world. That would also allow her to keep playing the role of the victim...how did Jon put up with her for 10 years.
Yes, these two are shameless, I have no sympathy for them, only their kids. What kind of parents keep doing a show that they turn into a national soap opera? They don't give a damn about their kids, they only care about money and ratings. They want to see how many suckers they can get to watch again.
I really feel sorry for thoes kids I wish John and kate could pull them selves together and quit being selfash thoes kids needs their mom and dad they loved each other once they need to find each other again they have to much to lose. I will watch the show no matter what I love watching thoes kids grow up to bad their mom and dad can,t grow up love each other ajaohn and kate and for give eather for thoes kids.
John and Kate you have a wonderfull familey I love you all don,t lose your wonderfull familey stay together you can make it work again you have my prayes I can not judge either one of you we all make mistakes but we grow and learn from you can to you all are like familey i will always watch the show no matter what happens because I love all of you my prayes are with you John and Kate kiss and foregive each other for your beatifull kids good luck John and kate with finding each other again you can do it if you really try.
I am so sick of all of these people telling Jon to "man up" or "grow up" or whatever. Kate is a shrew (come to think of it, the name of the shrew in Taming of the Shrew is KATE). How in the world can she believe that demeaning Jon's every action (including his parenting abilities) would result in anything less than his wanting to bolt? Kate doesn't care about her husband or her kids. You have seen her indifference to all of them over the first several episodes of this season. She's peeved because the gravy train is being threatened, not because of anything Jon may or may not have done. It's Jon who is taking the grown-up role here...threatening that gravy train and telling the world he doesn't care about the show, which seems to be Kate's first and only true love.

Jon has been a responsible parent. It's Kate that goes off and does book signings and speaking engagements, leaving Jon at home with the kids. The biggest mistake Jon did was quitting his job. He should have stayed in employeed at at least a couple of days of the week to get him out of the house and maybe Kate could have gone back into nursing to get out of the house for a few days a week.
I could give a **** about Jon and Kate. I really dont know how Jon stayed this long really. They are both idiots really. I feel for the kids its going to be rough on them i think. But Kate will get a ton of help so she can do whatever she wants while Jon sits in his apt twiddling his thumbs.
Its trendy to hate these people now. So the sheep give thier clueless opinions to feel part of the crowd.
