Farrah Leni Fawcett was born on February 2, 1947 in Corpus Christi, Texas to Pauline and James Fawcett. After attending the University of Austin through her junior year, she decided to give Hollywood a try.
She began with TV commercials and then moved on to appearing on series such as "The Six Million Dollar Man," "The Partridge Family" and "I Dream of Jeannie."
It was being cast as Jill Munroe on "Charlie's Angels," however, that rocketed Fawcett to stardome and made her feathered hairstyle one of the most requested in salons. Faberge even marketed a line of Farrah Fawcett shampoos.

Fawcett's film career includes "Logan's Run," "The Cannonball Run," "The Apostle" and "Dr. T and the Women." Throughout her acting career, she's received six Golden Globe and three Emmy nominations.
Fawcett was previously married to her "Six Million Dollar Man" co-star Lee Majors, but they divorced in 1982. Afterwards, she and Ryan O'Neal began a romantic relationship, which resulted in a son, Redmond.
She is survived by both Redmond and O'Neal. Earlier this week, the actor had announced that he and Fawcett were engaged and planned to marry despite her illness.

aww that is sad :(
She will be missed, so pretty and cl***y.
Did they have time to get remarried? I hope so.
This is so sad ... especially for Ryan and Redmond.
my prayers are with her family at this time. She was a beautiful & talented actress she was loved by many & will be missed alot
RIP Farrah, when i was little i wanted hair just like yours. and i thought Jill Monroe was the best Angel. you were most lovely and a talented actress and you will be missed!
God Bless Farrah,Ryan and Redman,She really was "AN ANGEL".She will be missed not for only her acting but more so for her fight and character and the way she shared her journey with cancer. A true role model.
I don't believe she ever married Ryan. She was married to the "Six Million Dollar Man", but she was also a devout catholic so I believe she was only married once. But they say that she accepted Ryan's proposal and was going to marry him before she died. I too, wonder if they made it.
Farrah Fawcett was a wonderful woman, she was loved by all and will be missed.May she rest in peace, now that she no longer has to suffer from the cancer that she had.
Deb: Ryan and Farrah couldn't get *remarried* as they were never married...she always turned down his *many* proposals over the years.
Charmaine: According to a post on TMZ.com, they didn't get married. Considering the number of times she said 'no' to his many proposals over the years, it's a shame they didn't make it when she finally said 'yes'.
