TwitterEddie Cibrian joins 'CSI: Miami'
The "CSI: Miami" team will welcome a new member this fall.
Former "Third Watch" and "Invasion" star Eddie Cibrian will be a regular on the show for its eighth season. He'll play an officer from Hollywood, Fla., who joins the CSI team in Miami.

What he won't be, at least according to The Hollywood Reporter, is a replacement for Adam Rodriguez's Eric Delko, whose fate was uncertain following a season-finale cliffhanger. The show's producers tell the paper that Rodriguez will be back next season.
Cibrian most recently starred in the Lifetime movie "Northern Lights" opposite LeAnn Rimes -- which led to rumors (which both he and Rimes have denied) that the two were having an affair. The latest blast in the story came from Cibrian's wife, Brandi Glanville, who claimed earlier this month that Rimes was "stalking" Cibrian.
Cibrian's other credits include stints on "Ugly Betty" and "The Starter Wife." He starred in CBS' pilot "Washington Field" earlier this year.

When did Zap2it become a gossip website instead of a source of real entertainment news?? With the new look website I have found they've become more gossip than news I can use!! I don't like this new website and I hate the way it always goes to the Twitter part instead of the news part or recap part.
BTW, who cares if Eddie & LeAnn did or did not have an affair and who cares what Eddie's ex calls LeAnn. Not sure I'm going to like him in one of my favorite shows but I'll give him a chance to prove himself.

As far as the Eddie story, I'm excited. You have to give CSI: Miami credit for one thing. They have some great eye candy for the ladies. Adam and Jonathan are fun to watch and I'm sure the same will be true for Eddie. I look forward to the new addition!
Yay!!! I love Eddie Cibrian! CSI: Miami is one of my fave shows and already has good guys so one more will just make it better.

wonder how this LOSER got on CSI, he prob used Leann's connections. Maybe now his ugly wife will thank Leann and stop with all the drama.

I took CSI Miami off my DVR this year. This show was just awful this past season and the main reason, IMO, was Dalko's character. What a whimp. Calleigh's character wasn't that great, but when they paired her with Dalko, she became totally unlikable. As much as I like Horitio, not even DC can make me tune back in.
I agree with Linda. This site has become way too cluttered. As for this celebrity twitter nonsense, what a bore. I realize, like TV in general, I could ignore it, but you have it plastered all over the site and made it harder to find the information I really want to read.
Don't know much about the new CSI Miami guy. Will wait to see what his character is like before I judge.
I agree with Linda. I liked how there was one main box with ALL the news coming in - and as much as I enjoy using twitter, I don't need to see it again here. I miss half the news here because it's buried under layers of nothing.
