Chris Pine trains for 'Unstoppable'
Chris Pine will trade the Enterprise for a locomotive.
The "Star Trek" star has boarded "Unstoppable," according to The Hollywood Reporter. The film follows a veteran engineer (Denzel Washington) who must team with his young replacement (Pine) to stop a runaway train filled with deadly chemicals.
Tony Scott will direct. No word on when filming will begin.
Since his successful turn as James T. Kirk, Pine's name has been linked via the rumor grapevine to high-profile roles from superheroes to the remake of television's "A-Team." This is the first role to be confirmed.
