Billy Mays funeral set for Friday

Billymays_kaboom_pitchmen_01_290 TV pitchman Billy Mays will be buried in his Pennsylvania hometown.

A funeral for the infomercial giant is planned for Friday, July 3 in the Pittsburgh suburb of McKees Rocks, also known as "The Rocks," reports the AP. Mays attended Sto-Rox High School in The Rocks.

St. Mary's Church will hold the funeral mass for Mays at 9:30 a.m.

Two days before, fans from around the country can honor Mays by watching the Discovery Channel marathon of his reality show "Pitchmen" beginning at 11 a.m ET.

The OxiClean and Kaboom pitchman, 50, was found dead by his wife Sunday in their Tampa, Fla. home.

Initial autopsy results point to possible heart failure, but more test results are needed to confirm.

I never liked commercials, but when I seen Billy, it added a whole new meaning to them. He was so fun to watch.I was not fortunate to meet a wonderful man in person. We will all miss you but know you have gone to a better place. God Bless your family and everyone else. Sincerely a true fan.
