Adam Sandler, Cher go wild for 'Zookeeper'

Adamsandler_funnypeople_290 Kevin James' "Zookeeper" is ready to roar.

On exhibit will be Adam Sandler, Cher, Jon Favreau, Sylvester Stallone and Judd Apatow, according to Variety. The five will voice animals at the zoo where keeper James pines for Rosario Dawson. (We don't blame him.)

Sandler will do double-duty as actor and producer on the film. Apatow, better known for directing and producing, will make a rare foray into acting as an elephant.

Filming begins later this summer. Release is tentatively set for Oct. 8, 2010.
