The Countess LuAnn de Lesseps may have lost her royal hubbie, but she's not letting that break her stride.
The Manhattanite is promoting her book "Class with the Countess," and letting details of her life and her Bravo show, "The Real Housewives of New York City" slip out.
In a WPIX interview, De Lesseps says she's surprised at the popularity of the show that was initially titled: "Manhattan Moms." She also says she's "doing OK" about the divorce and trying to do it with "dignity." But alas, every girl wants to know...does she retain her title and does she have to give up the family jewels? Watch the Countess butter her buns properly to find out...

ugh.
She thinks too highly of her borrowed title. It's not hers to keep. She should, rightfully, lose it.
She needs to, also, practice some etiquette before writing a book as she is not up to date enough to give other people advice.
Maybe LuAnn changed after signing onto the show and became an embar***ment to her husband?

The article at thw site above appeared in the New York Post on August 26, 2008 describes how, at a wedding in the Hamptons, she grabbed the mike, sang songs and knocked over a drum set and then started groping crotches.
According to the article:
" Then, LuAnn, who was there with her husband, Alexandre Count de Lessups, seemed overwhelmed with affection for her fellow guests. "She was trying to make out with women and married men," the source said. "A pregnant wife caught her in the act, stormed off and walked home in disgust."
Alexandre "tried to make her leave and was seen throwing her to the ground in the parking lot," our spy continued. "
Maybe the Count just finally got tired of hearing other Royals tell him that he should dump her? Surely,some may have watched the show as well and gossiped about LuAnn's disgraceful, inappropriate and quite un-Royal antics. Maybe one of his friends introduced him to the Ethiopian Princess to cheer him up? Google and see what comes up.
Luann has shown a kindness to all during this year's run of the show. She is beautiful and the one who seems able to calm things down. A sad moment to me was a clip of her and her then husband at Jill's Charity evening when Luann leaned her head on Alexandre's shoulder. Surely this was a sign of her affection for him. But she'll survive. Men, men, men. No matter how lovely the wife, some of the men always want something new and younger
