VIDEO: 'Prison Break' series finale preview
Trying to chronicle all the twists and turns over four seasons of "Prison Break" would take way too long, so suffice it to say that it's been quite a ride since Michael Scofield (Wentworth Miller) first got himself sent to the pokey.
The FOX show has its series finale on Friday, and Michael has one final sticky situation to get out of: His mom (the deliciously over-the-top Kathleen Quinlan) is holding his brother Lincoln (Dominic Purcell) hostage, while T-Bag (Robert Knepper) and the General (Leon Russom) have Sara (Sarah Wayne Callies). Of course, both sides want the same thing -- Scylla -- and they're both promising a world of hurt if Michael doesn't deliver.
How's it all going to end? I have no idea, beyond what executive producer Matt Olmstead told reporters last month -- that the last scenes of the finale will jump ahead a few years and show where the characters end up now that their ordeal is behind them.
For now, we offer up the following look at Friday's two-hour finale, with Christina and Michael negotiating terms for the Lincoln-Scylla exchange.
What do you think? Are you psyched for the finale?

I am! I don't care how silly this show has gotten. It's always kept me on the edge of my seat, wondering how they'd get out of a jam. I'm looking forward to reaching the road and getting some closure
that was a horrible ending. The producers really screwed all the loyal viewers. I'm patiently waiting for the recap so I can see what everyone else thought.
I couldn't agree more, I feel utterly betrayed by the way the series ended. I can't believe that just happened.
You guys are crazy!!!
This was a great series finale and I am glad I started watching it four years ago and stuck with it all the while.
I loved the show from the very first season. I think that The series finale was awesome.

Wasn't so bad. Yes bittersweet but look at tvguide and ew.com to see what the producer is saying. it makes sense. Having Michael wreak all this havoc and cause innocent people to die was still out there. Plus "The Final Break" will fill in the gap and make it more meaningful.
Beautiful and poignant ending.
Screwed by producers? Viewers betrayed? You knew the series was never coming back, right? Seriously, I wonder if you people would know what to do with a clue if you could afford one.
The last segment of the finale was utterly pathetic. I wholeheartedly agree with others who say they feel let down and betrayed. That was a meaningless kick to the gut of the fans who have stuck with the show for four years.
