VIDEO: 'Eastwick' first look
When you conjure up the man of your dreams, you have to be careful what you wish for. But everyone who was around in the '80s would know that because odds are you've probably seen the film "The Witches of Eastwick". And this show is based on that film, which was adapted from the novel of the same title by John Updike.
But just in case you still have no idea what we're talking about, the show's premise is all about three very different women from a small town who find themselves drawn together by a mysterious man who unleashes unique powers in each of them. Kinda like "Charmed" for the over 30 set...check out a sneak peek.

The actor's face looks like a combination of a young Larry Hagman and a young Tom Hanks. Somehow I dont see this joining the magic club of MASH, Alice, Odd Couple, and Buffy successful Movie to TV Show adaptions.
They'll have to do something about that music. It's awful.
The actor may end being better than the show. Google Paul Gross and you'll see that his credentials look to outweigh the rest of the cast.

This is probably going to be one of the season's most successful new shows.
Okay to funny. Paul Gross looks like Larry Hagman's son. And I said the same thing. Charmed and Desperate housewives. But I loved it.
Just saw it for the first time, Dec 2nd and loved it. So sorry the show can't make it on the major TV but it would be great for cable channels. I thought I found a replacement for 'The Gilmore Girls".
