VIDEO: 'District 9' trailer lands online

Wondering what goes on in "District 9?" So have a lot of folks since the movie's viral marketing campaign (shades of "Cloverfield") began. Now we have a few more answers, thanks to a trailer that surfaced online today.

Turns out the movie focuses on aliens -- the outer-space kind -- who settle in South Africa. That country is no stranger to us-versus-them mentality, thanks to the former apartheid system, and the trailer definitely plays up that angle.

"District 9" hits U.S. theaters on Aug. 14.
