Van Damme, Vinnie Jones draw 'Weapon'

Fresh off his meta-movie "JCVD," Jean-Claude Van Damme is getting back into the action business.

The Muscles from Brussels will team up with hard man Vinnie Jones (Bullet-Tooth Tony in "Snatch") for "Weapon," according to The Hollywood Reporter.

The two will play rival Special Ops types who team up to take down a drug cartel. Any resemblance to the Jason Statham-Jet Li movie "War" (in which two rival warriors sort-of team up to take down a drug cartel) is, we're sure, purely coincidental.

Meanwhile, don't pass up "JCVD" at the video store: The semi-biographical movie features one of Van Damme's best performances, a monologue addressed directly to the audience during a break in what's otherwise a bank-heist flick.
