Jamiecampbellbower_290 "Harry Potter" fans, meet your new Dark wizard.

Jamie Campbell Bower will play Gellert Grindelwald, a magician and childhood friend of Dumbledore's, in "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows."

In the book, Grindelwald and Dumbledore fall out after the death of Dumbledore's sister and Gellert's turn to the Dark side, though at the end of his life Grindelwald lies to (and is killed by) Voldemort to protect Dumbledore's legacy.

The movie versions of "Deathly Hallows" -- comprising two installments due to the book's length -- are currently filming in England.

Bower is becoming a veteran of the fantasy genre: In March, Bower signed on to play Caius, leader of the Volturi vampire council, in "The Twilight Saga: New Moon." He also co-starred with Johnny Depp in 2007's "Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street."

He'll be joined on "New Moon" by Dakota Fanning -- whose vampire elder Jane brings judgment on the forbidden love between teen human Bella (Kristen Stewart) and secret vampire Edward (Robert Pattinson) -- and Canadian model Noot Seear as Heidi, a so-called "fisher" who captures humans as food for her vampire masters.

It's Dumbledore sister who's killed, not Grindelwald!

Apart from that... great news :)

It's Dumbledore's sister who's killed...and Twilight isn't fantasy. It's a romance genre series with a vampiric atmosphere. And vampires are a horror construct, not an element of fantasy.

ok maybe you should figure out the actual story before you write an article wrong

That's cool. He seems quite talented. Did you know that J.K. Rowling confirmed that Dumbledore had feelings for Grindelwald, but then Grindelwald turned out to be sadistic?? Apparently it was Dumbledore's biggest regret in life or so. J.K. Rowling is amazing!!

WOW!! That's pretty cool!!! I'm sure that he will do great as Gellart Grindelwald.

As to answer the other comments, YES, Alana Dumbledore died when Prof. Dumbledore was still a teenager. And, Voldemort kills Grindelwald in Nurmengard for not giving him more information. Of what? Well, I kinda dont remember....

:)

Voldemort kills Grindelwald because he refuses to give straight answers in regards to the whereabouts of the elder wand.

I agree with the earlier comments; it looks pretty ridiculous to write an article with incorrect facts. It's really not that big of a mistake, but when dealing with a movie that has a fan base that could make up its own country, it may be in your best interest to do some proper research.

a) Old News

b)Dumbledore's sister is the one who dies.

'Harry Who?' I say.

harry potter is so much better than twilght because harry potter has action and twilight is CHESSY no action and its stupid

Grindelwald is killed by Voldemort because he won't tell him were the Elder wand is
