'So You Think You Can Dance' is so damn good, it makes me weep
God bless "So You Think You Can Dance" and all the skilled, young dancers of the world.
I don't know, man. This show does something to me.
Sure, a great voice is cool and certainly a gift. But to see someone display true dance talent -- whether it be in contemporary, tap, hip hop, salsa, Memphis Jukin or all of the above -- really touches me in a way no other art form can.
I mean, as soon as the music starts, it's as if the Lord himself breathes life into these kids' limber bodies as they bend and glide about the stage, because their movements are so beautifully inspired.
I'm gushing. I know. I can't stop.
Season after season, the contestants never cease to amaze me. And if last night's top performances are any indication, it seems this time around will be no different.
Yeah, I don't know what else to say... except that if you're not watching "So You Think You Can Dance," you're seriously missing out.
Oh, and also that I don't ever remember judge Tyce Diorio talking quite this much. Do you?

Tyce reminded me of a combination or Vinnie Barbarino and Arnold Horschack from "Welcome Back Kotter".
I completely agree Korbi, this show is amazing. I started watching season 2 because I was bored and nothing else I liked was on and I saw travis dance and was just amazed and I have been a fan ever since. Anybody have a favorite for this season yet?
I've been watching this show since season 1 and I'm still surprised that it hasn't become a bigger hit!
But anyway, I still believe season 2 had the best personalities/dancers. All of Travis' solos and Allison's exit are still so fresh in my mind!! AND THE BENCH DANCE?! I've loved all the current seasons but the dances and contestants haven't surp***ed those of season 2, IMO.
hey i love tyce and all the guest judges cause at least they SAY something relevant. i'd rather have a panel of guest judges (minus debbie allen) and dump nygel and mary. nygel just talks to sway who he wants to win, and mary is another paula - talks to the crotch or to please nygel.
Haha, I love Tyce too. I love all the judges... well, there might be one I could do without... but I'm just giving Tyce a little friendly flack. My favorite is Adam Shankman I think.
Watched last season for the first time- nothing else was on so I stopped surfing there- at just that time it was Chelsea and Mark dancing to "Bleedin' Love" and I'm getting goosebumps even now just typing that! Wow- I was hooked- thought they were a forever team, remember I hadn't watched before, so I was devastated when they split them up! So great to see Chelsea on DWTS this season- yeah, I'm hooked- even my husband has bought into this one!
First saw this last season- channel surfing stopped here- at the time I decided to watch Chelsea and Mark were about to dance "Bleedin' Love"- goosebumps even now! So glad to see Chelsea as a pro on DWTS this past season- anyway- great show, totally hooked, even my husband has bought into this one! Tyce- mean spirited, just plain mean!
Have loved this show since Season One. I tell all my friends, you have to give it a chance, its always. And did I hear right, will we always be getting a Fall Season...one can hope! The dancers are amazing.
OOPS, got so excited. Its always to amazing to watch the dancers and see how talented they are, and yes they move me to tears many times.
