Reports: No go for Lauren Graham's 'Bridget Show'
The latest batch of reports about next week's upfronts tell more about what's not getting picked up than what might be, and it looks like bad news for the likes of Lauren Graham and Katee Sackhoff.
The trade papers are reporting that "The Bridget Show," an ABC comedy starring Graham as a talk-show host and advice guru whose personal life falls apart, got a thumbs-down after the network screened it. It's nothing against the former "Gilmore Girls" star, reports say, but the tone of the show, which had previously been described as a little dark, didn't go over that well.
ABC executives also got a look at alien-invasion drama "V" and the "Fame"-esque "Limelight" recently, and the news doesn't sound good for the latter show, which is produced by "Terminator: Salvation" director McG. The Hollywood Reporter says the two pilots got "mixed reviews" after their screenings on Monday, but "V" is the only one likely to remain in the mix for a pickup next week.
Over at NBC, the crime show "Lost & Found" is looking like a goner after not making NBC's first cut last week. The Dick Wolf-produced drama stars "Battlestar Galactica's" Sackhoff and Brian Cox as partners in the LAPD's "John Doe" unit, working cases where the victim is unidentified. Moving the show to NBC's cable sibling USA is an outside possibility.
The reports about "Lost & Found" follows news that NBC is taking a pass on David E. Kelley's "Legally Mad." Another NBC pilot, the comedy "Off Duty," is still in contention but may go in for some retooling.

If Lost & Found winds up on USA it will probably be a hit. Katie Sackhoff has a large following from Battlestar and she was the best thing on the Bionic Woman. So of course NBC p***ed on her network series.
Love Lauren Graham but this show would have not lasted too long, as ABC is really hurting for comedies now. They're even thinking of picking up Dreyfuss's show if CBS CXLs it. DESPERATE!
Once again NBC is making extremely bad decisions. Lost & Found with Katee Sackhoff should be on their fall schedule. For the life of me - they can't see a hit even if it smacks them in the mouth!
Sue you havent even seen any of Lost & Found to know if it would have been good or not. So you dont know if it would have been a hit or a complete miss. Even if it did have Katee Sackhoff. Besides Katee is a total lesbian.
@ Michael C
What difference does it make if she is a lesbian? Or are you just another bigot?
Umm sorry but Katee is very straight. She has been with the same boyfriend for years
Who cares who Katee Sackhoff sleeps with.

"Lost & Found" would definitely be a great addition to USA's lineup. Good scripts, great actors, meaningful subject... what more do they need to turn it into a huge hit ?
Let's hope they hear the fans' mobilization to get the show to the air >> http://www.lostandfound-online.com
