POLL: Which canceled CW show should have been saved?
Sorry, "Reaper" minions, but the devilish comedy about a young man who must do the devil's bidding and collect escaped souls from hell has met its maker.
With The CW's announcement of its Fall lineup Thursday, it was apparent that two favorites -- "Reaper" and "Privileged" -- had been canceled.
In our darkest hour, however, there's a bit of hope. The CW, in their infinite wisdom, has decided to stay out of the Sunday original programming game, handing it over to the affiliates instead.
The folks at "Reaper" are hoping (but not sounding terribly convincing) that the CW affiliates would see the light and continue the show on Sunday nights next season.
But until then, "Reaper" is in purgatory, as are we.

Privileged!!
Easy Money was good too. If given the chance, it could have become something great. It was on the wrong network imo. It would have done great on ABC.
"Everybody Hates Chris" got canceled? A show with a predominantly black audience gets moved from a decent Sunday slot to a lackluster Friday night slot and it gets canceled for ratings? Go figure!
none of the above.
i wish they would bring back 'beauty and the geek'
Chris and Reaper. I am not in CW's target demo - people who like smart, funny and creative television shows, so this comes as no surprise as the CW is restructuring itself to become FOX ca 1995, except back then FOX had the good sence to have Simpsons and X-Files. What puzzles me is why wouldn't CBS and ABC offer to pick up Chris and Reaper since they produce the two shows, respectively. I guess is must be because CBS is afraid of black people and ABC gets a raging boner every time a show gets cancelled, or why would they cancel so many of their own right out of the starting gate.
Anyway, back on topic with the CW, I'm just sad that two good shows had to die just so that teenage girls could have their own network. Well at least this resolves some DVR conflicts: now I only have NBC, FOX and LOST to DVR.
yes, that must be it. when a black show gets canned it's not because of lack of necessary viewers, but because it has black people in the lead.
how dare they.
Well Reaper was the ONLY show I watched on CW. So, bye bye CW.
The only way you did not vote for The Game is because you did not give it a chance... the show took some time to get its footing in the first season but it's really been an enjoyable and relatable 3 seasons! I will really miss it. BTW, can someone please tell me where I'll find a predominantly minority cast in primtime next season? Other than Ugly Betty?
Network TV just got a little bit whiter. Now, the only show with a predominately African American cast is Brothers (FOX) and The Cleveland Show...wtf?
It's a good thing we have tokenism or we wouldn't have any minorities on TV.
My son and I watched Reaper every week. It is very clever, funny and generally well done, so I'm not surprised a hack network like the CW cancelled it.
So long CW, you lost two more viewers (like you had so many to begin with).
"Well Reaper was the ONLY show I watched on CW. So, bye bye CW"
ditto.....
