Withoutatrace_anthonylapaglia_290 CBS had the least casualties of the main networks so far, but some favorite shows were still "Without a Trace."

Yes, the missing-persons drama went missing from CBS' lineup Wednesday, along with a few other dramas and one comedy.

Also notably missing from the schedule is "Flashpoint," which is currently in a sort of limbo, but may still return in the season.

Did CBS make the right call on these shows?

Cancelling "eleventh hour" means I will now only watch "the Mentalist" on Thursday nights. CSI died when "Grissom" left. Moving "the Mentalist" to Thursday night is a waste; it should have stayed where it was. As for the rest of the schedule -- meh. NCIS is good; the spinoff looks atrocious.

The Eleventh Hour was the best show. Rufus Sewell and Marley Shelton a great team.

The show got better and better each week! Will be missed.

You misspelled "Without" in "Without a Trace"

@ Jane

Thanks for catching the typo! Unfortunately, I'd have to make a new poll to fix it, and I don't want to lose the voting results, so just ***ume I'm chastised and will never make that error again.

Aside from that, any comments on the actual shows being canceled?

CBS should have let Medium die and kept Without A Trace.

I am shocked that they cancelled "Without a Trace". Wasn't it beating "Law & Order: S.V.U." & all the ABC shows in that time slot?

Without a Trace,The Unit and Eleventh Hour should not have been cancelled. They were all good shows. Why not hang on to them and if other new shows fail put these shows back on. These shows always had good ratings. It's a shame that they wont' be on anymore

The Unit's numbers definitely meant cancelation, but I think it was one of CBS's better shows and it was different, so I wish they would have been able to find a way to save it.

How about "None of the above?" I gave up on both WAT and The Unit a couple years ago. And I wanted to like Eleventh Hour but the science got really bad, distracting from what was otherwise an interesting character drama.

Losing Without A Trace means I will only have one hour-long show to watch anymore, and that's not until January 2010. It was the last full-season drama I tuned in to. Wow. End of an era. Guess I'll be getting a lot of use out of the old library card.

It's insulting to the cast & fans that they canceled WAT this way, without a proper sendoff. After this many years, we & they deserved better than that. But that's about par for the course for CBS; I long ago learned to hold them in contempt.
