Lindsay Lohan is a hot mess, police reports said

Lindsay Lohan's home had a burglary scare, but the only frightening thing police found at the starlet's home was her deplorable housekeeping skills, reports the AP.

Officers responded to a 3 p.m. call from a security company when Lohan's burglar alarm went off Tuesday in Hollywood and discovered what they at first thought to be ransacking. Sadly, the "ransacking" was just the normal state of the house.

There was no sign of anything missing ... except for a good housekeeping award.
