TwitterKiefer Sutherland vs. Brooke Shields over 'heroic' headbutt
"24" star Kiefer Sutherland headbutted a man at an after party for the Met Costume Institute gala at Submercer on Monday, but he claims it was all to defend Brooke Shields' honor, not from public drunkenness as some have reported.
Not so fast, says the lady in question. Shields denies the story that she was knocked down by Proenza Schouler designer Jack McCullough, which necessitated heroic action from Sutherland. Shields' rep tells TMZ.com, "Jack did nothing inappropriate. It's not clear what caused Kiefer to do what he did."
McCullough reportedly has either a broken nose or lacerations on his nose as a result. Police are investigating the matter.
Sutherland is currently on probation in Los Angeles for a DUI.
Okay, maybe we're crazy, but even if someone goes around shoving other folks, when is a headbutt the next logical action? When you're an extra in "Braveheart"?

After the headbutt, Keiffer immediately set up a perimeter around the event and asked Chloe to check the satellite uplink for any other fashion designers who may be in the area.
But for the love of peace, WHY would this guy defend of all people, Brooke Shields? This no-account hack of an actress isn't worth defending at all! Brooke, just go away!
