Kate Gosselin's brother: 'Jon & Kate' in a sham marriage
After cheating allegations have trained the spotlight on "Jon & Kate Plus 8" parents Jon and Kate Gosselin, stories have surfaced that nothing -- neither the marriage nor perfect picture of domesticity -- on the reality show is real.
In a video interview with RadarOnline.com, Kate's brother Kevin Kreider and his wife Jodi (anybody remember redheaded Aunt Jodi from the show's earlier seasons?) reveal that Kate is big on delegating all of her housewife duties to others so she can focus on book tours, speaking engagements and promoting the show.
"Where it all sort of goes foul is that they claim they're doing it all themselves," says her brother. "It's just a snowjob."
Kevin also adds that his sister has refused any sort of marriage counseling and that Jon was "hurt" when she told him their marriage was over.
Wait a minute. What? But aren't they still married?
Well, according to the oh so reliable Star magazine, the Gosselins have continued with the pretense of a happy marriage that's governed by a secret contract in which Jon gets to have girlfriends on the side as long has he plays the good husband on the show.
And why did Kevin and Jodi mysteriously disappear from the show? Word is that Kate became irate when TLC offered to pay the Kreiders for their time and appearances on the program and stipulated that only she and Jon would get paid for the gig.
So ... do you believe any of this stuff? Or is it all just more tabloid fodder?

Wow... I don't even know what to say anymore... This gets stranger and stranger by the day.
And, yet, I'm not surprised, because Kate is extremely manipulative..
Honestly,is anyone surprised? Kates true colors are really coming out. She is a snooty, pretencious b*tch.
And Jon is a spineless man to put up with the way Kate talks to him on TV.
I pity the kids and hope Social Services take a long hard look at their well being.
Well, I give up! Reality TV shows that are completely staged and severely edited. Why even bother calling it a reality show? And, SO many people watching it and taking it all in as though it was all honestly representative of their daily lives! SO many suckers in the TV audience. And, look how Jon and Kate have prostituted themselves for free makeovers, free cosmetic surgery, free hair transplants, free vehicles, a free luxury home, free clothing and everyday necessities for life, free vacation trips...all on the backs of those kids. I agree, Social Services needs to step in and save those kids or there's going to be 8 hoodlums-in-the-making because of the missing parents.
Aunt Jodi is nothing but a money hungry pig. She was cut from the show because Kate realized it was never good to work with family who are also on the payroll. Give it a rest. Jodi and her husband have both been waiting for their opportunity to bring down Jon and Kate. God forbid these two should have a little trouble in their marriage. Give them space people. Its tough enough raising children..but to also have lies being told about you. wow...we love to tear people down. Remember...we all will be judged someday based on what we do in this world...think about that.

I must have missed the day in journalism cl*** when "compiling stories from other sources (especially questionable sources like Star magazine and 'word') is just as good as factual investigative reporting" was taught.
I liked the show but last season saw alot of Kate belitting Jon. I got tired of it and didn't watch some of the shows because I think the way she treats him as a husband is terrible. Also if he was totally in charge of the children while she was promoting her book then he would not have time to wonder. Where were the children while he was out on the town? Kate should have left them with him. He is daddy after all.

But working with family who are NOT on payroll is A-OK, apparently. She doesn't have qualms about "working" with her kids.
it is a joke that people are even listening to a word that comes out of jodie and kevin's mouth. How can we take anything they say seriously when they are willing to betray their blood for a buck? what a good brother...
