'Jon & Kate Plus 8' production runs late
The "Jon & Kate Plus 8" attention sparked by tabloid reports of Jon Gosselin's alleged infidelity has caused delays with the show's production, reports the LA Times.
The TLC reality show about Jon and his wife Kate Gosselin and their two sets of multiples, is set to premiere its fifth season on Monday, May 25 -- only two weeks away -- so all shooting for these first episodes should be in the can.
Unfortunately, the tabloid fallout from Jon being photographed with a young woman outside of a nightclub now has producers trying to figure out how to address the whole situation. In interviews, Kate had mentioned that the general effect of the tabloids on their lives will be covered, but not any particular stories (i.e. cheating).

i think kate shouldn't be surpise shes mean to jon, and seems to think that she is in control. I see it on tv how stuck he feels, however i dont think he cheated, but maybe he was about too.
This show is absolutely stupid to begin with and TLC of all networks airs crap like this? Thank goodness I don't watch this nonsense!
Could production actually be delayed because Kate is running around the country appearing on every talk show known to man? Perhaps if she would stay home, they could start shooting and they could work through a few issues TOGETHER.
The bottom line is if Jon and Kate agree to continue the show, it will be clear that it is about the money. Kate is definitely basking in the reflected glory of her darling children and she needs to get a grip soon. Is the big house, book signings, travel, etc... really all worth the time away from one's family? The two need to get serious counseling and figure out what their priorities are. Also, until both of them show some more responsibility, I am VERY tired of Kate saying, we put our children first.

Obviously it's all about the money and publicity. Why else would you do a reality show and air it to America?
For most people money and fame means everything to them.
I loved the show in the beginning but I can not stand to watch Kate and her "better than the world attitude" The bad thing is that the oldeswt girls have turned into such brats.They act just like their mother. While the little ones are so sweet natured.I believe that Kate needs to get on down of her high horse. That new show with the family of 12. They are so normal it seems.All the organic food and "never get dirt on you" Kate just makes me to sick to even watch.I dont know how Jon made it this far!
