Editor's Note: Welcome to the new Zap2it!

Breaking news flash: Zap2it is not only your go-to guide for "What to Watch. Where to Watch It" on TV but for EVERYTHING in entertainment!
Fellow TV, Movie and Celebrity fanatics, you have probably noticed we've done some renovating and redecorating around here. Please allow me to introduce the Zap2it "Beta" Launch to all of you. (My introduction a bit later.)
What does the web's overused term "beta" mean for our loyal viewers? Well, basically you get to feast your eyes on a major site facelift while we web types and tech wizards continue to enhance and improve content, technology and functionality behind the scenes.
Still airing on Zap2it:
Premiere "Find It Fast" TV and Movie listings

Show recaps and exclusive teaser clips
Daily and weekly Nielsen ratings reports
Box office reports
Expert TV analysis, reviews and commentary
Exclusive scoops and spoilers from Korbi TV
Photo galleries galore
(Just to name some of the essentials)
Premiering on Zap2it:
- A fresh new design and streamlined navigation -- Note to the interweb's ADD nation: Get your daily dose faster here!
- Zap 2 Twitter feeds -- A one-stop shop of must-read Tweets
- 'Drinking with the Stars' video series on Korbi TV

- Zap2it's From Inside the Box Bouts video series
Upcoming Season on Zap2it:
- 'ZapCaps': A special brand of show recaps
- Zap2it's 'Best Night on Television' (we'll keep you guessing here)
- Enhanced show cards with fan community and photos
- Reality star guest bloggers
Zap2it will also aggregate content from sources around the web, as well as enhance the site with content from our Tribune brothers and sisters. No I don't mean our faves Nora and Kitty Walker. I mean Tribune Interactive, as in the Los Angeles Times, Chicago Tribune, KTLA, and a bazillion local broadcast affiliate stations (OK, more like 20 or 30 but who's counting. I'll get back to you on that number).
Zap2it's Korbi Ghosh (formerly of Eonline fame) will bring you even more exclusive breaking news, scoops and spoilers along with her addictive brand of TV commentary. And since the new Zap2it believes in keeping our frenemies close "we ain't too proud" to link to Ausiello and Kristin. (Right TLC). Hey, as much as we'd like to we can't break all the big stories. Going to the gym, beach, yoga and spa treatments in between all the hours of TV viewing consumes a lot of time. We're thankful someone's around to fill in the gaps for us.
Now a lot of you are already acquainted with Zap2it's Brill, Hanh, Rick, Andy and Darcel. So you're probably wondering, "Who the heck is this random character giving me a site tour?" Well, I'm Joseph Kapsch who proudly joins the Zap2it team as Editorial Director. My dog's name is Prince and we're both Gemini vegetarians... Joking.
What I meant to say is my current menu consists of "Gossip Girl," "American Idol" (Team Kris, Archie and McPheever for life), "America's Next Top Model" (Team Allison), "Grey's Anatomy," "Desperate Housewives," "30 Rock," Bravo (everything!) and Jennifer Aniston. I look forward to obsessive conversation with all of you.
Caption This Zap2it Blog Quiz! The above "Gossip Girl" promo is:
A. The lost "Gossip Girl" episode when Blair Waldorf's evil cousin from college (Ok, fine post grad school) comes back to town to settle some scores.
B. Chuck Bass' long lost brother
C. My pal Nia having some fun with photoshop for my Zap2it editor's note.
If you guessed "C" then you're on the money my friends. But hey a guy's allowed to dream. Right? Oh how we worship Queen S. and Queen B. our G.G. goddesses.
Anyway back to regularly scheduled programming. There's much more exciting site news to come, so keep your browser pointed to Zap2it and follow us on Twitter for up-to-the-minute updates. I'm signing off for now.
Kapsch Out! Wait that's somebody's else schtick and originality is the spice of life.
Lets try this...
Happy TV, TiVo and Tweets -- Until the next episode,
Joseph a.k.a. latzapjoseph on Twitter
(The lat stands for Los Angeles Times. I'm doing double duty as Executive Producer, Entertainment for Los Angeles Time Interactive. Be sure to visit our partners in crime at latimes.com/entertainment for more great content)
P.S. Please send your site feedback. Comments, compliments, complaints - let us have it!

lame, Zap2It, outsourcing your News page to a bunch of bloggers is weak. I'll get my TV news elsewhere from now on.
Hate it.
Also heading elsewhere.
Love the new format. You've achieved, in my opinion, a balance between the innovative and yet still maintaining a certain consistency of what I've enjoyed about this site.
At least that's my opinion.
Good work and can't wait to see what the future brings.
THIS LOOKS AWESOME! The Twitter feeds are cool. AH cant' you read they're not outsourcing they're aggregating. All the original stuff is still on here.
It totally sucks!!! Some things are better off the way they are.
I don't like the new look. Way to "stark white" and looks too much like everything else out there. zap2it used to be cool & different. Now, nothing to see here.
What did you do with the picks section?
Why do you guys keep insisting on changing stuff and screwing up your site?
Thanks for nothing.
IT SUCKS!!! Makes thing a lot harder to find!!!
Take a lesson from Facebook!!! We don't like change!!! (Except in our political leaders). Don't mess things around. You can tweak, but DON'T OVERHAUL!!!
The photo galleries rule! This is so much better than TV Guide now.
You really look like you could be on Gossip Girl. I love the site. xoxo
