Donald Trump to Carrie Prejean: You're not fired!
Miss California USA Carrie Prejean will get to keep her crown -- and her runner-up status in the Miss USA pageant -- despite the revelation of another set of topless photos of the controversial contestant.
At a news conference Tuesday, to which the cable news networks devoted a hefty chunk of live coverage, Donald Trump -- who owns the Miss USA pageant -- said Prejean would get to serve out her term. "We've reviewed the photos carefully," Trump said. "We are in the 21st century. Carrie's a model, a very successful model. We have determined that the pictures taken are fine, the pictures were acceptable."
Prejean first attracted the spotlight during the pageant, where in response to a question about gay marriage she said she preferred "opposite marriage." A set of topless photos leaked soon after, followed by a different set of pictures on Tuesday. Of the latter, Prejean says the photographer who took the shots "violated [my] trust" by releasing the pics without her approval -- and also, that it was windy the day of the photo shoot and her top was blown back.

So the Moral of the story here is - Rules can be broken and lies get you whatever you want. Also, never own up to anything you do. BLAME everyone else.

I love that Carrie Prejean kept the title. I, along with the majority of her state and country, agreed with her answer. Besides, how could they use those pictures against her when right next to her at the press conference was pageant official Shanna Moakler, who intentionally posed completely naked for Playboy?! Moakler, pageant guy Lewis, and Perez Hilton are all hypocrites and should be removed from the organization before Miss Prejean.
I don't really care whether or not she got stripped of her title...either way there was a case for it. I think the media just needs some big scandal to report on and this is being served on a silver platter.

Well Jo, If you knew anything about anything you would know her loosing her title had nothing to do with her answer. It was about the pics she took and her lies. Shanna did pose for playboy, but did so AFTER she was Miss USA.
It's unfortunate that people are so closed-minded these days. It's 2009, Prejean. Get with it. Maybe all she needs is to have a gay friend to understand that gay people are people too. PS - Will someone explain to me what "opposite marriage" is? Really.
