Danny McBride takes up 'Hench' mask
Danny McBride is used to playing second fiddle in films like "Land of the Lost" and "Pineapple Express."
For his next starring role, he'll play... well, a henchman. Variety says Warner Bros. has picked up the rights to the graphic novel "Hench" for McBride to co-write and star.
The story follows Mike Fulton, an ex-football star laid low by an injury. Without much in the way of job training (or smarts), Mike goes to work as a henchman to a series of supervillains.
No word yet on when filming will begin, and whether it'll impact season two of McBride's HBO series "Eastbound and Down."
