Bradley Cooper may beat Chris Pine for Green Lantern role
Forget Wolverine: Green Lantern is suddenly the hot comic-book property of the summer, and he's not even on movie screens. Not only is "Star Trek" star Chris Pine supposedly interested in the role, now the guys over at HitFix say "The Hangover's" Bradley Cooper could be wearing that green power ring.
Want another complication? Sure ya do. Though neither star's movie is in theaters yet, a sequel to each is already in the works.
Green Lantern is a DC Comics hero; the movie will apparently center around his earliest incarnation, Hal Jordan, a hotshot pilot recruited into a sort of interstellar police force. Jordan's ring can create a green version of pretty much anything he imagines, though it's useless against anything colored yellow. The hero's name comes from his ring's recharger, a green lantern.

Bradley is such an underrated actor. He looks great, has awesome facial expressions (please Midnight Meat Train to see a whole new side of Bradley), and I feel he is the best choice.
I PRAY he gets this breakout part.
Bradley Rocks!
Seriously, though, when was the last time a prediction like this actually played out? Did anyone guess Chris Pine as Kirk? Bale as Batman? Matt Smith as Doctor Who? Daniel Craig as Bond? For all we know they could end up casting a complete unknown for the part, or someone that makes everyone go Huh? like Ben Stiller or Sasha Baron Cohen...
I've been following Chris Pine since I saw him in Phantom of the Opera. With his role in the new Star Trek movie, he's someone to watch for most definitely!
Agree with you **Alex**, who can actually know but I will say this though there is something to choosing the "right" actor/actress to fit the part/character. I don't know how that process actually works but when you look back on it and you learn who was up for the part, and then you can't imagine no one else in that role. Then you might start thinking of all the Batman movies for example, who was the best Bruce Wayne/Batman or the best Joker (perhaps Jack Nicholson over Heath Ledger). Both Jack and Heath received nominations for their respective performances.
Sorry to flash my nerd card but Hal Jordan was not the earliest GL, Alan Scott was back in the JSA days and all that stuff.
But go bradley cooper!
It would be a shame to cover up Chris Pine's eyes with the little mask.
Chris pine is the perfect choice for gl. if u watched any of star trek u already see he has the attitude to play hal jordan never back down never be fearful kinda attitude. bradly cooper stick to comedys
